Welcome to Northwest Painting Company

What is the business history of Northwest Paint Company?

Jason Ingersoll established Northwest Paint Company in March of 2004. Jason was born in the city of Richland in the Tri-cities, and moved to Redmond, Washington where he was raised. Jason painted with his father and brother's during the summer while attending high school. After graduating from high school Jason continued his training with his father's painting company learning the "ins and outs" that come with all the different aspects of the trade. Upon completing his intense training and having ample amounts of experience with new construction and repaints, Jason was soon being sought after by friends and family for paint projects, business began to grow and so was born Northwest Paint Company. Jason takes pride in the fact that he and his crew members are new construction woodwork specialists, along with being repaint specialists. Jason and his wife Jennifer now reside in Bothell and plan on living out the rest of their lives on the eastside.

What do we know about interior?

We take pride in the fact that we are a systems based company. We are constantly coming up with new and better ways to get a job done. We have systems in place to complete all types of woodwork projects. When we paint mill-packs, we caulk, putty and sand as much as it takes so that every door jam, window wrap, base molding, crown molding, wainscoting, and fire place mantle looks like it's made from one piece of wood, without nail-holes. When we stain and or clear coat we use the finest of materials so that the wood looks like it has a coat of glass over the top of it. When we paint walls we do a drop coat with interior wall primer that is tinted to whatever the base coat is. Then we spray and back-roll the topcoat, this will act as a second coat to make whatever the color is, that much richer.

What do we know about exterior?

Once again we are a system-based company therefore we have systems for painting exterior surfaces as well. We have experience staining cedar shake and siding whether it be solid body or semi-transparent stain. We have a system and a way of spraying hardy plank siding so that even in the darkest color, one could see down the side of a house and not see any "stop and go" spray marks. We paint all trim with enough coats to cover. When we paint front doors, we prepare the surface with the proper primer. We then spray the surface with an enamel to make the metal look like it was made in the color of the paint, smooth without runs.

We were very pleased with the quality of his work, timely manner in which the job was completed, and the clean-up effort each evening before he went home. I would, without hesitation, recommend Northwest Paint Company, to complete any paint job you are considering.
